English bulldogs have chronically dry noses. While a wet nose is the sign of a healthy dog, even healthy bulldogs suffer from cracking, dry and chapped noses. And these issues tend to get worse with age.
When your bulldog’s nose is dry and cracking it’s extremely painful and sensitive to the touch. While some bulldog owners have found success with quality, organic coconut oil and baby ointment, the most popular remedy by far is Snout Soother balm.
The before and after photos seem to represent the normal experience with this product and many bulldog forums, owner clubs and veterinarians swear by this product. With regular use, owners report fast improvement in their bulldog’s breathing, less chapping, cracking and scabbing and less scratching around the snout area.
The recommended application for Snout Soother is 2-3 times per day, with generous amounts applied before bedtime when changes in temperature and humidity can make the nose extra dry. The frequency can be reduced as your dog’s nose heals and rehydrates back to normal.

How To Apply
After washing your hands, scoop out a nickel sized amount with your index finger. Rub the balm around your dog’s nose, being careful not to get it inside of his nostril holes. Be sure every part of his nose is covered and rub your finger around it, making sure it’s soft to the touch.
Tips for dogs that don’t want their noses messed with:
Try and approach your dog from the front and show him what you’re doing instead of coming around from the back which can be startling and scary. Also, associate this activity with a reward by providing a small treat afterwards.
2-3 times per day for severe dryness. Once daily for mild dryness or to maintain a soft, moist nose.
When will I see a difference
Within 1-2 days.
Is Snout Soother dangerous if swallowed?
No. All of the ingredients are human-grade and safe for dogs to eat. Snout Soother has a pleasant smell. Most dogs like its taste and don’t mind it being applied to their noses. However, try to rub Snout Soother in as much as possible so the active ingredients penetrate into your dog’s nasal membranes before some are licked off.
Is Snout Soother Hypoallergenic?
Although there aren’t any cases of allergic responses or known contradictions, it’s wise to use extra care when applying this product to a dog with nut allergies.
Where do the ingredients originate?
